This privacy policy describes how Bruu Solutions LLC ("we", "us", "Bruu Solutions") collects, uses, and protects information accessed via the Bruu Print Service application registered with the Uber Eats Marketplace API.
The Bruu Print Service is an internal, single-merchant integration used solely to support in-store receipt and label printing at Bruu Cafe (Country Club Plaza, Kansas City, MO). It is not a consumer-facing application, does not accept user sign-ups, and is not distributed to other merchants.
This policy covers only the Bruu Print Service application and the data it accesses through the Uber Eats Marketplace API. It does not cover:
The Bruu Rewards App (covered by its own privacy policy).
The general bruusolutions.com or bruucafe.com websites.
Data collected through Bruu Cafe's point-of-sale or loyalty systems outside of Uber Eats orders.
When an order is placed through Uber Eats at the Bruu Cafe store, Uber Eats provides the following information through its API to the Bruu Print Service:
Order identifiers: Uber order ID, short display ID, store ID.
Order contents: items ordered, modifiers, special instructions, item prices, totals, taxes, fees.
Customer information needed for fulfillment: customer first name and (where provided) a masked phone number used to identify and announce the order at pickup.
Order timing: order placement time, estimated pickup or ready time, order state.
Fulfillment metadata: whether the order is pickup, delivery, or dine-in; courier details where applicable.
We do not access or store full customer addresses, full phone numbers (beyond what Uber surfaces in masked form), payment card data, government identifiers, or any data unrelated to fulfilling the specific Uber Eats order at our store.
The data is used exclusively to:
Print accurate kitchen labels and customer/driver receipts at Bruu Cafe.
Identify the customer to staff at the pickup counter (first name only).
Reconcile Uber Eats orders against the corresponding entries in our Clover point-of-sale system.
Diagnose printing or order-handling issues internally.
We do not use this data for marketing, profiling, behavioral analysis, training machine learning models, or any purpose unrelated to fulfilling the specific in-store order.
Order data accessed from Uber is processed in real time and retained only as long as needed to fulfill the order and support short-term operational troubleshooting. Specifically:
Order records are retained in our local order database for up to 90 days for printing, reconciliation, and dispute support.
Logs referencing order IDs are retained for up to 30 days for debugging.
After these periods, records are purged. Aggregated, non-identifying statistics may be retained indefinitely for business analytics.
Access to the Bruu Print Service and the data it processes is restricted to:
Authorized Bruu Solutions staff responsible for operating the cafe and maintaining the printing system.
Bruu Cafe staff at the store who see customer first names printed on receipts and labels in the normal course of order fulfillment.
We do not sell, rent, or share Uber-sourced data with any third party other than as required to operate the integration (e.g., the Uber Eats API itself, our point-of-sale provider Clover, and infrastructure providers hosting our software).
Access tokens, client secrets, and API credentials are stored in environment configuration on a single in-store computer with restricted operating-system permissions. Network access to the Uber API is over TLS. Our order database is accessible only from the local in-store network.
Bruu Print Service does not knowingly access, collect, or store data about minors. Customer names provided by Uber Eats are used only for order identification at pickup.
If you believe an Uber Eats order you placed at Bruu Cafe has been mishandled, or you wish to request deletion of any records held by Bruu Solutions related to a specific order, please contact us at the address below. We will respond within 30 days, subject to verification of the request.
We may update this policy as the integration changes. Material updates will be reflected by a new "Last updated" date at the top of this document.
